14 Norient Festival
Key Visual
2025, Independent

Norient is an audio-visual gallery and a community for contemporary music, quality journalism, cutting-edge research, projects, and events around sounds from the world, like the Norient Festival.

For the 14th edition of the festival held in Bern, Switzerland, I was commissioned by Norient to develop an artwork that would become the key visual and set the visual identity of a festival with a deeply DIY ethos rooted in celebrating the multiplicity of cultures.

Made in a uniquely collaborative process with the festival’s artistic directors Suvani Suri and Philipp Rhensius and programme coordinator Janina Neustupny, the collage was assembled collectively instead of being drawn from a singular artistic vision. I love the possibilities afforded by collage as a creative medium in bringing together multiple perspectives and points of reference, putting elements in dialogue with each other, and this project was a great opportunity to explore these notions further with a small but mighty team of incredible artists and cultural producers
